How much does a website for a tradesman cost?
Monthly plans start at £59 a month with hosting, your domain and local SEO included, on a 12-month minimum. If you would rather pay once, a site starts at £999 plus £20 a month for hosting and care, and you own it from launch.
Who builds the website?
I do. I am Nathan, I run NC Digital in Merthyr Tydfil and I have been building websites since 2008. You deal with me from the first call to launch day and after.
Which trades do you work with?
Electricians, roofers, builders, landscapers, tree surgeons, carpenters and joiners, plumbers and heating engineers, and most other trades. If you work with your hands and need more local jobs, I can help.
How long does it take?
Most trade websites go live within two weeks of you sending your logo, some photos and a list of the work you do. You get a preview link first and nothing goes live until you are happy.
Will it show up on Google?
Every plan includes local SEO set-up: proper page titles, schema markup, a Google Business Profile and pages written around the searches your customers use. Smaller towns can start ranking within a few months; busy cities take longer.
I have no time to write anything. Is that a problem?
No. Most tradespeople I work with send a few photos and answer some questions on a 15-minute call. I write the words.
Do I own my website?
If you buy outright, yes, from launch day. On a monthly plan the site is yours once the 12-month minimum is done, and I will hand over everything if you ever want to move.
Do you only work in Wales?
No. I am based in South Wales and most of my clients are local, but everything is done by phone, email and video call, so I build for trades anywhere in the UK.
